From application to offer

Here’s what you can expect if you’re interested in applying for one (or more) of our roles. Depending on the position, the application process may vary, and it could include assessments or assignments. We want the process to be simple, but we want to make sure you’re the perfect candidate for the role — and that the role is perfect for you, too!

If this is your first time applying for a role with Definity, you’ll need to provide your email address and contact information, upload your resume, and answer a few questions related to the role. You can also choose to sign in with LinkedIn or apply with Indeed.

Screening and assessment

Your application will be reviewed by one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists (TAS). Depending on your application and the role, you may be selected for a quick screening call or be asked to complete an assessment.

This is your chance to tell us about yourself and your experiences and let us know why you’re interested in the role and in Definity as a company. Feel free to ask some questions of your own, too. Your TAS will help guide you through the recruitment process and answer any interview or job-related questions you may have.

If you’re selected after your initial screening, you’ll be invited to an interview. You may meet with a single interviewer, or with a panel of interviewers that could include the hiring manager, peers, key stakeholders, or the team leader.

This is your chance to shine! Be prepared to emphasize the relevant skills and experience that you can bring to the role, based on the job description. You should also learn about Definity and come prepared with some questions of your own.

Most importantly, don’t forget to be yourself. Our TAS and hiring leaders want to meet the real you. It’s an important part of our culture.

After interviews are completed, the hiring team will decide on the right candidate for the role. If that’s you, we’ll contact you to discuss offer details, onboarding, and next steps. We’ll also conduct criminal background checks and any other reference or credit checks as required by the role.

Our TAS will also reach out to all candidates who participated in the interview process to let them know the role has been filled.
