As a new public company aiming to achieve its ambitious inorganic growth strategy, the organization is seeking a Manager to join the Corporate Strategy team to support the build of an M&A integration strategy and manage future M&A integrations.

The successful candidate is expected to use their prior M&A integration and transformational project experience to also perform maturity assessments of integration capabilities and manage execution of other enterprise-level strategic initiatives. This is a full-time opportunity.

What can you expect in this role?

  • Act as an ‘in-house management consultant’ to execute company-changing strategic initiatives. Apply creative solutioning, critical thinking and process enablement to deliver initiatives that impact the entire organization.
  • Manage integrations within the Integration Management Office (IMO), and:
    • Develop and manage detailed integration execution plans to facilitate timely & successful integration
    • Identify and realize synergies to support the strategic rationale of the acquisition
    • Mitigate integration risks and resolve issues
    • Manage change management activities to effectuate cultural integration
    • Enhance organizational capabilities to enable the company to successfully perform accretive acquisitions
  • Manage complex cross-disciplinary projects, ensuring effective execution and deliveries across multiple functional areas
  • Facilitate workshops with broad range of functional stakeholders and identify cross-functional issues, dependencies, and risks for resolution
  • Support the development of strategic processes and frameworks that enhances organizational capabilities
  • Directly engage with executives and functional leaders across the organization

 

What do you bring to this role?

  • 5+ years of progressively senior experience gained at a top tier management consulting firm in a value creation practice or industry working on strategic initiatives
  • Prior experience managing M&A integrations as part of an IMO
  • Sound judgment, with the ability to critically analyze situations, problem-solve, and deal with ambiguity; exhibits the ability to provide meaningful advice and recommendations.
  • Acute attention to detail and strong commitment to producing excellent work products
  • Team player: demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to achieve results
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with expert ability to create impactful presentations with MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to think and act strategically, but also be willing to roll up the sleeves and put strategies and plans into motion
  • Undergraduate degree at a leading university, with high proven achievement
