What can you expect in this role?

  • Manage an ‘in-house management consulting’ team of professionals to design and execute company-changing strategic initiatives. Apply creative solutioning, process discipline and people leadership to deliver initiatives that impact the entire organization.
  • Develop an M&A integration strategy and playbook, with focus on establishing a repeatable integration approach and developing synergy realization strategies.
  • Assess and lead activities to enhance organizational capabilities to enable the company to successfully achieve its corporate strategies and make accretive acquisitions.
  • Design and lead complex cross-disciplinary projects, ensuring effective execution, risk management and timely deliveries across multiple functional areas.
  • Lead workshops with executive stakeholders across the organization
  • Periodically present to senior management on developed strategies
  • Actively manage external advisors, vendors, and consultants


What do you bring to this role?

  • 9+ years of progressively senior experience gained working on strategic initiatives at a corporate strategy function in the insurance industry, or at a top tier management consulting firm in a value-creation practice
  • Proven experience managing cross-disciplinary enterprise-level initiatives or M&A integrations
  • Strong leadership skills leading a team of professionals; ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders to align on a common vision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain detailed and technical information in a simple and creative manner; expert at creating impactful presentations with MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to think and act strategically, but also be willing to roll up the sleeves and put strategies and plans into motion
  • Undergraduate degree at a leading university, with high proven achievement
