Reporting to the Team Leader, Administration Ontario Region you are responsible for reflecting a positive and professional image of the company by providing exceptional customer service on the phone, in person at reception and in writing.

What can you expect in this role?

  • Answering telephone calls and welcoming visitors with courtesy.
  • Assisting staff with telephone reliability.
  • Preparing and/or sorting mail.
  • You’ll process and/or follow up on abeyances, BI&I and Inspections requests in support of the commercial insurance team
  • Provide admin support to the leadership team and department as assigned.
  • Provide required support that includes database administration, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Handling other duties promoting the achievement of customer service and business goals.

What do you bring to the role?

  • Professional, friendly and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers.
  • Perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure.
  • Self-sufficient, diligent and take initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Bilingual in French an asset but not required.
  • High school diploma required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a receptionists would be considered an asset
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous administrative / reception support.
  • Familiarity with Windows environment, including Intermediate MS Word and Excel
