What can you expect in this role?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives and receiving day to day coaching and guidance from senior leadership, you'll work collaboratively with functional teams to support cross-functional strategic initiatives (e.g., developing integration strategy, capability gap assessment)
Develop an understanding of the organization structure and map current state processes
Learn to develop strategic processes and frameworks that enhances organizational capabilities
Opportunity to work closely with senior leaders to establish strategies and develop implementation roadmaps
Assist in creating and maintaining stakeholder engagement matrix for ideation / validation workshops
Communicate project information to all participants and stakeholders
Participate in functional workshops / meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members and stakeholders
Track, maintain and report the progress, create project templates (e.g., budget tracker) and checklists
Run weekly internal team update meetings to keep the team apprised of emerging risks, issues, schedule and quality concerns
What do you bring to the role?
Currently obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance or another relevant field
3rd or 4th year student who is graduating no earlier than January 2023
Previous coop experience working in a strategy or transformation management role is an asset
Interested in obtaining PMI certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, ACP)
Proficient in MS Office (Power point, Excel). Familiarity with Visio is an added advantage but not mandatory
Self-driven, able to move tasks & projects forward independently and with personal accountability
Team player and excellent collaborator, able to both lead & participate functional discussions
Adaptive and Agile, able to rapidly pivot your efforts between multiple priorities as business needs change
A high degree of personal ethics, integrity, and responsibility with an ability to deal with sensitive issues and safeguard confidential information
