Job Responsibilities: 

  • Analyzing customer, system and performance requirements 

  • Contributing to solution developing and designing 

  • Modelling (i.e. functional, data, business etc.) 

  • Testing the executable components 

  • Programming / coding 

  • Testing (Unit, Integration & Load) 

  • Documenting solutions, systems 

  • Co-ordinating production implementation and releases 

  • Providing day-to-day support / on-call 

  • Tuning performance 

Required Skills: 

  • Working towards a university degree/college diploma in computer science/ technology or a related business discipline with a graduation date of no earlier than January 2023 

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a wide array of tools and techniques including, but not limited to:  

  • Web-based applications (Java / J2EE, XML) 

  • Object-oriented programming and design and web technologies (i.e. STRUTS, JDO, JBDC) 

  • Platform knowledge (UNIX, Windows) 

  • Hadoop and distributed systems knowledge 

  • JavaScript 

  • Scripting 

  • GIT 

  • SQL

Work Location: The position will either be a hybrid (1-3 days in office) or fully remote. These positions are spread across our different locations including Kitchener/Waterloo and Toronto
