What can you expect in this role?
The IT Asset Management Coordinator Co-op will be reporting to the Team Leader, IT Asset Management and will be a part of the Technology Solutions IT Asset Management team. The Asset Management team manages all IT Asset Management activity and implements best practices to reduce life cycle cost, risk and support audit controls for all IT hardware and software.
Job Responsibilities:
Asset Management
Coordinate and execute annual hardware audit activities across multiple office locations
Tracking, auditing and reconciliation of technology hardware and software
Perform and maintain documented Asset Management processes
Software Asset Management
Coordinate and execute uplift of software contracts and data into tracking database (working with multiple stakeholder teams)
Contribute to process improvement and automation
Create and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation
Special Projects as assigned
Required Skills:
Working towards a university degree/college diploma in a technology, business or related discipline with a graduation date no earlier than January 2023
Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel required
Some lifting of computer equipment will be required (approximately 40 lbs)
Professional, friendly and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers
Strong organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work on an ongoing basis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, consistently demonstrating an ability to take initiative on any issue
