What can you expect in this role?
The Technical Analyst is responsible for day-to-day support and troubleshooting for the services provided by the Intel Client team. The role collaborates with internal and external teams plus vendors to provide support on issues escalated from the tier 1 & 2 teams.
Key activities include desktop support work, management of the MDM (AirWatch) console, ongoing development of the windows/vmware images, desktop patching and development the Apple support capability.
Job Responsibilities:

Supports the translation of business requirements into technical specifications

Develops the relevant technical documentation for operational acceptance of solutions.

Coordinates daily issues meetings and technical status meetings (via Kanban) for the team's activity

Monitors and reports progress of the technical deliverables against work plans, responds to support issues and day-to-day business requests

Works with the ITSM teams to ensure the accuracy of service / solution descriptions in the IT service catalogue, for all services / solutions

Works with the support teams to resolve incidents and technical problems

Adheres to processes and standards (e.g., ITIL)
Required Skills:
-
Working towards a university degree/college diploma in a technology, business or related discipline with a graduation date no earlier than January 2023

Knowledge with Image development
-
Knowledge with MDM suites, such as AirWatch, InTune and/or Casper
-
Knowledge with ITSM tools, such as Service Now, BMC Remedy and/or CA Service Desk
The following relevant industry-related certifications are considered an asset but not required:

Microsoft MCSE, MCSA or MTA
-
Apple ACE, ACiT or ACMT
-
IBM CSE, CSO or CSA
-
ITIL Foundation v3

Work Location: The position will either be a hybrid (1-3 days in office) or fully remote. These positions are spread across our different locations including Kitchener/Waterloo and Toronto
