Senior Advisor, Legal Operations
What to expect
Reporting to the AVP, Legal Governance, Delivery and Strategy, will work closely with the Legal leadership team to:
- Lead planning and business case development, including preparing annual business plan
- Lead and manage the development of presentations for executive leadership
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports to support strategic decision-making
- Liaising across teams to track initiatives, gather information, and support
- Act as a Legal liaison across the broader enterprise, to support planning and strategic initiatives
- Support the day-to-day execution of business strategy, including management of leadership team meetings and execution of strategic planning sessions and offsite
- Support the coordination and program management of strategic initiatives and projects
What you bring
- University degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related program
- 3+ years of relevant, full-time experience in management consulting or similar role
- Experience preparing presentation materials for senior leadership or executive audiences
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is required.
- Proven record of analytical expertise and excellent attention to detail
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interact with senior executives and other cross divisional leaders in the organization
- An ability to make to make well-informed, effective, and timely decisions
- Ability to work in a team or independently with moderate supervision
- Self-motivated and consistently demonstrates an ability to take initiative on any issue
- An ability to adapt to new environments and take on new challenges
- Knowledge and experience with Legal department operations or similar functions would be an asset, but not required
High degree of proficiency with English is required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
Salary range is: $96,600 - $161,000
Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
