What to expect from this role?
Reporting to a Broker Services Team Lead, you will provide excellent customer service when answering questions from brokers and internal stakeholders regarding inquiries or processing assistance on Guidewire.
You will provide data entry support as required. You will process transactions that cannot be issued through the brokerage network's self-service portal, including experience letters, policy amendments, and terminations, in accordance with underwriting and authority level guidelines. You will also review and assess the acceptability of risks in less complex scenarios.
You will ensure that all requests and transactions comply with the underwriting and authority level guidelines and consult with the appropriate higher levels regarding requests and transactions that exceed your authority level. If it is determined that a request requires a higher level of action, you will proceed with the transfer to the appropriate team or level of authority, ensuring that all relevant information is collected and that a properly documented analysis record is included.
Transaction Processing
Process transactions that cannot be issued through the brokerage network's self-service portal, including letters of experience, policy amendments, and terminations, in accordance with underwriting and authority guidelines and efficiency and quality standards. For example: In this role, the person is evaluated on their ability to handle queries efficiently, without compromising quality.
Receiving and sorting
- Review incoming queries and emails to confirm types of risks.
- File cases in the management system for multi-folder transactions and route them to the appropriate teams.
- Update existing cases in the management system when the broker submits additional information.
What do you bring to this role?
- Have a university degree, college diploma or equivalent work experience (in business or finance).
- Possess the CIP designation (or be in the process of obtaining it) an asset.

The hourly compensation for the role starts at $22/h and will increase based on factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, and the recommended rates as set by the respective educational institution.
