As an organization aiming to achieve its bold inorganic growth strategy, we are seeking a Senior Manager to join the Integration Management Office as part of the Corporate Strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing M&A post-merger integration capabilities, and then managing post-merger integrations in the future. The Senior Manager will partner with one or more business lines to assist them on integration readiness and execution activities. The Senior Manager is expected to use their prior post-merger integration experience, to plan and execute M&A integrations on behalf of those business lines. This full-time opportunity is an individual contributor role.

What can you expect in this role?
- Enhance organizational capabilities for one or more business lines to enable that business line to successfully execute a post-merger integration in the future by:
- Developing an integration playbook, including integration checklists, operating models, workstream governance, and reporting approach, etc.
- Identifying capability gaps and proactively driving actions to build these capabilities
- Facilitating functional and cross-functional interdependency alignment sessions
- Manage M&A post-merger integrations for one or more workstreams, each aligned to a business line, and ensure effective execution and delivery by:
- Deeply learning the business and operations of business line(s) to become the expert in that area for the Integration Management Office
- Developing and managing a detailed integration execution plans to facilitate a timely & successful integration
- Facilitating meetings to validate integration plans within the workstream and across other functions
- Analyzing current operational processes and systems, designing integrated operating states, and driving the integration of these processes and systems to improve overall efficiency
- Identifying synergies to support the strategic rationale of the acquisition and driving the realization of these synergies
- Supporting change management activities to effect cultural integration
- Mitigating integration risks and resolving issues
- Facilitate workshops with broad range of functional stakeholders and identify cross-functional post-merger integration issues, dependencies, and risks for resolution
- Directly engage with executives and functional leaders across the organization, and present and report strategies and post-merger program updates

Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressively senior experience gained either:
- in an M&A post-merger integration or value creation team at a Manager (or higher) level at a top tier management consulting firm, or
- managed post-merger integration efforts as part of business operations or business line at a financial services company
- Experience managing post-merger integration workstreams as part of an Integration Management Office
- Undergraduate degree at a leading university, with high proven achievement
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required; working knowledge of MS Visio and MS Project is an added asset
- Insurance industry experience is preferred but not necessary

This role is focused on M&A post-merger integration and not M&A pre-deal activities (due diligence, financial modeling, valuation etc.). Candidates without specific post-merger integration experience and only technology / systems integration, general strategy, corporate development, finance, investment banking experiences will not be considered for this role.
Salary Range: $84,000 - $154,700
