Reporting to the VP Group Insurance, this role will be responsible for leading the execution of key marketing campaigns, maintaining and renewing partnerships while consistently seeking opportunities to expand the relationship scope and impact for both Sonnet and its business partners. The Sr. Manager, Partner Growth will create a strong culture of collaboration between internal business partners (Marketing, CRM, Content, DCC, Claims, IT, Legal) to ensure alignment in a fast-paced business expected to drive significant YOY profitable growth. It will be accountable for driving both increased sales focus / best practices across all channels (Sonnet and Petline) , executing the territory manager voucher program strategy, developing strategy to extract maximum value from all direct distribution partners and ensure a strong relationship with marketing team to drive increased collaboration, efficiency and impact and employee engagement
What can you expect from this role?
Partner Marketing Delivery + Achieving Quote and GWP:
- Collaborate with partners to gain buy-in to mix of tactics laid out in the yearly marketing plan.
- Facilitate the delivery of creative assets, enable the execution of all planned marketing activities and seek opportunities for growth.
- Accurately track results and identify risks to achieving targets with proposed solutions to the leadership team.
Group Launches:
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital Experience and Communications to meet program launch delivery dates and deliver a market leading.
- Act as the product SME in the design of campaigns.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate & maintain strong relationships with partners to continuously improve on retention and renewal targets.
- Proactively contact strategic partners through various channels including phone, email and face-to-face interactions to promote Petline products.
- Set goals and monitor metrics and actions plans to expand and achieve partner satisfaction targets.
- Support the Market Leads through complex customer service situations to ensure questions and complaints are handled professionally.
Generate New Business Leads:
- Conduct needs assessments and identify opportunities to develop new partnerships through referrals and testimonials from existing partners.
- Support team in identifying potential leads and assessing the quality of the business to ensure ongoing profitable growth.
Leadership
- Leads and engages managers by communicating job expectations and competencies necessary to be successful, building plans to develop required sales skills and capabilities, tracking sales progress of staff in relation to expectations and competencies, providing timely feedback on how effectively employees are applying knowledge and skills to achieve job expectations and sales targets, and rewarding effective performance.
- Supports performance management when established requirements are not met by understanding the corrective processes and methods.
- Supports Territory Managers by responding to daily operational questions, clarifying information, and providing direction and counselling, as required.
- Assists Territory Managers in resolving product or service problems and member complaints, as required.
What do you bring to the role?
- University Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 7–10-year experience, preferrable in a P&C environment and experience leading teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead high performing, highly engaged sales teams.
- Insurance-related (e.g. CIP, OTL license, ACS)
- Must have good project management skills such as communication and organizational skills and an ability to promote and supervise a team effort toward project completion,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking & problem solving, creativity/adaptability/resourcefulness, communication/collaboration, organizational/time management/stress management, persuasion, coaching, negotiation, emotional intelligence.
- Expertise in driving quantifiable metrics and leveraging consumer data to find quality customers to acquire, engage, retain through various channels.
Salary range is: $84,000 - $154,700
