What can you expect in this role?
- Deep knowledge of the technical components to enable the creation of a Delivery Roadmap and Integrated Sprint Plan. Work daily with Technology Leads and Architecture, to position and articulate the technology delivery plan to Executive level audiences.
- Extensive experience leading Agile teams to optimize the delivery model, manage scrum team level interdependencies, increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of innovation to increase efficiencies and remove risks to successful deployment. Helps Tech Lead advance ability in refining development process, defining technical requirements.
- Accountable for Agile delivery metrics across multiple teams (incl. vendors) and implement improvement opportunities. Expands agile ways of working to other parts of the Portfolio that can benefit from key successes and learnings.
- Lead large, strategic and complex enterprise initiatives encompassing technology and business work steams and multiple vendors with a budget of $10m+ to support Definity’s overall corporate strategy.
- Accountable for the cost, scope and timeline of multiple work streams contributing to the overall program and is expected to report into Executive and C-level to provide status updates.
- Leverage their extensive experience and expertise to lead and mentor multiple project teams to ensure optimal performance guaranteeing that what we deliver meetings key performance indicators and stated benefits.
- Accountable for the development of the Integrated Program/Sprint Plan and management of Program level interdependencies.
What can you expect in this role?
- Over 10 years of Project, Program and Portfolio management and Technical Delivery with an emphasis on Governance Framework planning/implementation, IT Service and Operations Management, Financial Management, Risk Management and Decision Analysis.
- Ability to manage a project portfolio
- In-depth knowledge and the execution of the Project Management Lifecyle and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills – ability to present status messaging to variety of stakeholders including senior leaders and C-suite executives;
- Ability to simplify technical complex process into plain business language
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Project Management tooling (Jira/Confluence, Kan Ban, Microsoft Projects)
- 3-5 years’ experience with Agile Delivery
- Thought leadership and change management/agent
- Experienced in project management financials
- Experience with SOW management & negotiation
- Ability to identify and mitigate risk
Salary range: $84,000 - $154,700
