The Senior Specialist, B2B Marketing (or Partner Marketing) ensures that the right customers are getting the right message, through the right channels. With a focus on delivering strategy and execution tactics for the PI Partners, and Sales teams from Sonnet. They will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the Group/Affinity (Sonnet) marketing strategy and plan. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about insurance and B2B marketing and has the attention to detail required to interpret complex data and communicate the plan and execution of it.                                                                                       

 What can you expect in this role?                                    

  • Collaborates with marketing leaders on the planning and implementation of group and non-endorsed affinity marketing efforts across a complex multi channel set up
  • Primary point of contact for all marketing tactics required for acquiring, supporting and retaining Group/Affinity audiences
  • Oversees the process for delivering and measuring the success of marketing tactics for Group(s) & Affinity
  • Assists in the development and optimizes current marketing and group processes to create efficiencies and actionable strategic plans
  • Leads collaboration efforts with the Group Insurance team, Digital Experience and Communications Teams, to meet program launch delivery dates while optimizing and reporting on success of the initiative as it relates to marketing efforts (performance, content, creative
  • Works with director of content to facilitate accurate spend for various pieces of content across multiple channels and platforms 
  • Research and maintain a deep understanding of market trends and comparable industry programs             
  • Contributes to the management of partner marketing performance and communicates the effectiveness of initiatives with various internal partners
  • Updates the marketing team on a consistent basis about the addition of new consumer products or pricing strategies
  • Works with performance marketing team on the reporting of group/affinity and partner initiatives and communicates results to various cross functional team members
  • Acts are marketing point of contact and represents marketing's position within the agile team structure (Sonnet and Petline)
  • Communicates frequently as subject matter expert to the marketing team on insurance products and services (whether as part of Sonnet or industry in general)
  • Collaborates with the PI performance marketing team reports back on the objectives and results of B2B assets in market
  • Assists in the execution of organic and paid content alongside the Manager, Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Works with marketing and PI leadership to provide insight on best message and the associated performance in each channel for each partner 
  • Assists in the creation, management and execution of the marketing A/B testing strategy for partner content

What do you bring to the role?

  • 5+ years of B2B and B2C marketing, insurance, and/or project management experience.
  • Bilingualism preferred 
  • Well versed in insurance products and industry in general
  • Ability to balance quick timing while still ensuring quality of work. 
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution.
  • Hustle is essential, moving quickly and executing to allow for continual iteration is a core competency of our team
  • Passion for connecting with consumers 

Salary Range: $66,300 - $122,100

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.  In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
