What can you expect in this role?

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for the platform’s day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance, and providing solutions to deliver business value, improve processes, and increase adoption.

You will work closely with the senior administrator to support Sales & Distribution and Business Development with critical broker channel processes, and support other business teams using Salesforce as their contact and security management, case management, and knowledge management tool. The Salesforce Administration team supports 400+ users across the organization.

High level accountabilities include:

  • Production Support – manage the intake of business user incidents and inquiries, troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes, and work with developers on resolution
  • Prioritization – provide input on fixes and system changes, representing business needs
  • Enhancements and Projects – gather and communicate business requirements, execute testing and production verification, manage sandbox environment
  • User Management and Security – administer changes to user accounts, manage user profiles, roles, and permissions 
  • Reporting and Communications – design and develop custom business user reports and dashboards, prepare and execute mass communications and email templates 
  • Process Automation – design and implement bulk record creation, edits, and deletions, utilize advanced automation and complex configuration changes
  • Training and Product Management – assist in training new users, recommend solutions, conduct demos, create technical documentation
  • Data Management – execute activities related to data migration, data governance, data cleansing, bulk data operation, and mass data changes

What do you bring to the role?

  • University degree, college diploma, or related work experience                                                       
  • 3-5 years of Salesforce Administration experience required                                                 
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification required
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification preferred
  • Trailhead Ranger Rank preferred
  • Knowledge in P&C industry preferred
  • High proficiency with Excel, data loader, salesforce inspector, SharePoint
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Scrum
  • Very strong attention to detail, ability to work with large data sets, handling of sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality                                      
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, relationship building, facilitation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary Range: $55,800 - $102,800

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.  In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
