Looking for a Senior Oracle Developer to resolve highly complex techno-functional problems. The key skills put to use on a daily basis are - diagnosis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution of complicated and critical technical issues. Must have high level of techno-functional skills, Oracle HCM and ERP product knowledge, problem solving skills, and customer interaction/service expertise. 

Looking for someone to build and maintain strong relationships with HCM & Finance business leaders, delivery partners, vendors, and provide direction and deliver on optimal technology solutions/services to meet business needs. Responsible for developing and maintaining Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Process, Application Integration, and Oracle API Platform Cloud Service. Key focus of this role will be on Application integration between Oracle and other business application providers on the cloud (SaaS), ERP, and 3rd party systems. The position will work as Senior Developer - Oracle and will report to Director, Technology.


Here are some activities that you may perform

  • Development of Application Integration solutions between Oracle ERP (HCM & Finance/Procurement) and between Oracle Cloud and other 3rd party systems.
  • Act as a solutions integrator; provide a flexible approach by offering and negotiating options with Business that balance service levels, cost and risk.
  • Develop impact assessments, manage delivery schedules, access issues & change requests, perform risk assessments to consistently manage operational processes (time reporting).
  • Report on Project/Backlog progress, status, overall health and individual applications.
  • Assess work plans, identify scheduling issues, report and escalate, as needed.
  • Track major project deliverables; share updates and other support initiatives.
  • Participate in Oracle Quarterly updates activities and Lead the Integration Scope of activities within the Quarterly releases.
  • Development activities using PL/SQL 
  • Working with Support team to resolve Incidents and Provide Resolution.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and ensure best practices are followed by the team.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their applicability to our goals and needs.

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business/Commerce or a Technology Discipline (Computer Science, Engineering)
  • 6 to 8 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent Communications skills
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of Financial Industry technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, applications, platforms,).
  • Ability to work closely with business partners, internal and external stakeholders, technology vendors to ensure solutions meet requirements, and architecture needs.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle PaaS Tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud(OIC) & REST APIs.
  • Experience using various HCM Spreadsheet Data Load (HSDL), HCM Data Loader (HDL) & HCM Extracts process and Oracle Fast Formulas and File Based Data Import (FBDI).
  • Should be able to translate and communicate technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Bitbucket, JIRA).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for technology and continuous learning, with a willingness to explore and adopt new technologies and methodologies

Nice to have

  • Proven experience implementing cloud technology solutions in industries with high regulatory oversight.
  • Technology Transformation experience to implement new modules within Oracle Fusion Cloud
