Work closely with a technical and agile development team in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. You will play a key role throughout the release life cycle by working closely with the Quality Testing team, software developers and project stakeholders to ensure that Quality Testing goals have been met.
What can you expect in this role?
- As a QE Analyst, you will work closely with business/project teams to understand the business meaning of data, the business requirements and provide analysis for test coverage.
- You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans and test cases related to our data platforms’ projects and releases with a focus on test coverage and accuracy.
- Work on data platforms like GCP to validate data ingestion, ETL, data integrity, data analytical reports etc.
- Work on Industry and In-house tools for data comparison between source and destination based on business logic.
- Collect and store test evidence and artifacts as per prescribed process.
- Provide accurate and detailed test execution status to stakeholders, along with trends and potential impacts.
- Create bugs upon failures within the enterprise bug management tool and participate in defect triages and help retest of bugs post remediation.
- Participate in the coordination of the change/release management and production implementation processes and activities.
- Provide project and technical orientation and support for new team members.
What do you bring to the role?
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 4+ years’ experience in Quality engineering Datawarehouse, Cloud knowledge (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure as optional)
- Proven experience within the Insurance Industry
- 4+ years’ experience in technical area of specialty, specifically SQL, BigQuery, Cloud, Python/Pyspark and any data platform
- Strong ability to analyze the business and user requirements and translate them into testing deliverables such as testing data, SQL query and validate expected results.
- Knowledge on Airflow DAG, Cloud composer, Looker studio is must.
- Strong ability to develop test plans and running analysis on testing results.
- Experience in data ingestion, ETL testing, data integrity testing and Cloud testing
- Experience in any DH Automation tools or technologies (Python/Pyspark)
- Working knowledge on JIRA board/Zephyr is mandatory.
- Experience of Agile software development practice and methodologies
- Goal oriented; must be able to remove roadblocks and deliver goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to adapt quickly and easily to change.
- Ability to work in onshore offshore model is added advantage.
- Guidewire PC, BC and CC knowledge is added advantage.
- Adapt to work in Hybrid work model is must.
Salary range: $59,400 - $118,100
