As an organization aiming to achieve its bold inorganic growth strategy, we are seeking a Senior Manager to join the Integration Management Office as part of the Corporate Strategy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an M&A integration strategy and managing future M&A integrations. The Senior Manager will also perform capabilities and maturity assessments and support other enterprise-level strategic initiatives. The Senior Manager is expected to use their prior integration and transformational experience, adapt to dynamic and changing situations, and deepen learnings in new disciplines. 

What can you expect in this role?

  • Manage M&A integrations at an enterprise level, ensuring effective execution and deliveries across multiple functional areas by: 
    • Developing and managing detailed integration execution plans to facilitate a timely & successful integration
    • Identifying and realizing synergies to support the strategic rationale of the acquisition 
    • Mitigating integration risks and resolving issues 
    • Managing change management activities to effectuate cultural integration
  • Enhance organizational capabilities to enable the company to successfully perform accretive acquisitions 
  • Directly engage with executives and functional leaders across the organization, facilitate cross-functional workshops and present and report strategies and program updates
  • Be constantly challenged by different and varying projects that require unique solutions

What do you bring to this role?

  • 7+ years of progressively senior experience gained in an M&A integration or value creation department at a Manager (or higher) level at a top tier management consulting firm or an acquisition-focused company
  • Prior experience managing M&A integrations or large transformational projects
  • Undergraduate degree at a leading university, with high proven achievement
  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required; working knowledge of MS Visio and MS Project is an added asset
  • Insurance industry experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Demonstrated success in delivering and executing in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
  • Strong relationship building skills and a team player: demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to achieve results
  • Strong business acumen, with demonstrated aptitude for strategic, analytical, and critical thinking
  • A high degree of personal ethics, integrity, and responsibility with an ability to deal with sensitive issues and safeguard confidential information.
  • This is an M&A integration role and not technology / systems integration – candidates with only technology experience will not be considered for this role. 

Salary range is $84,000 - $154,700.

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.  In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
