Work term: Summer (May-August)

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting with IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, inclusion) initiatives. This will range from corporate programs to Employee Group work.
- Promotion of IDEA initiatives using Viva Engage/Yammer on a regular basis.
- Promotion of IDEA Learning Opportunities with partners like CCDI, Pride at Work, Indigenous Works
- Maintaining Employee Experience calendar with IDEA events and learning opportunities
- Research and curate content for IDEA learning channels and learning path
- Research IDEA content for one-pagers that can support various stakeholders such as front line workers
What you bring
- Student enrolled in College or University program (preferably Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Human Resources).
- Interest in and/or experience supporting diversity, equity and inclusion efforts is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of social justice and workplace inclusion concepts
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be curious and inclusive in nature, is customer focused and works well in a team environment;
- Strong technology and writing skills are required in addition to a strong attention to detail, pro-activeness, and ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills, especially related to MS Office applications such as Word and Power Point.

The hourly compensation for the role starts at $22/h and will increase based on factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, and the recommended rates as set by the respective educational institution.
