What can you expect from this role?

  • You will develop, coach and manage the performance of your employees, including achieving operational, functional and individual productivity levels and service level agreements.
  • You will contribute to the continued support of our high performance culture and sustained profitable growth through the promotion and support of an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration and teamwork. 
  • You will perform quality reviews in support of the Technical Processing team. 
  • You will work with the Regional Directors and Senior Directors of the Eastern Region in Business Insurance to forecast technical processing demand and manage employee schedules (e.g., vacation, training, paid and unpaid absences, etc.) with input and guidance from Human Resources.
  • You will assist in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedure documents for existing and new processes.   

What do you bring to this role?

  • University degree or college diploma. 
  • 3-5 years of relevant insurance experience, including one to three years of experience (formal or informal) supervising a Commercial Lines team.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Possess good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Be bilingual, both written and spoken (French and English).
