What can you expect in this role?

  • Coordinate the reception and compilation of relevant data points for both the business and claim vendor management team.
  • Use claim handling and vendor interaction experience to identify opportunities in workflows and key performance indicators.
  • Monitor claims records including tracking trends, noting patterns, and watching to detect any irregularities.
  • Liaison between numerous internal departments, including claims, customer service, accounts payable, legal, technical services and underwriting.
  • Monitor and report on vendor performance measures that are in place and actively applied throughout the lifecycle of the vendor relationship.
  • Work with the claims line of business discipline to manage compliance with all Vendor Management Program requirements.
  • Ensures quality and delivery of service level agreements by auditing and tracking vendors within area of responsibility.
  • Integrating third party data with Definity data.
  • Perform diverse analytics to support business stakeholders, leveraging full suite of technical capabilities
  • Collaborating with business partners and claim vendor management team to ensure data points align with KPI's while evaluating opportunities.

 

 

What do you bring to the role?

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft's suite of products as well as excellent knowledge in transforming data from non-relational data structures into relational data structures is required.
  • University Degree - Business, Finance or mathematics
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance claims and data analysis role at a property and casualty insurance company
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are required for this role.
  • Critical thinking and professional skepticism
  • Strong work ethic
  • Insurance industry experience would be beneficial but is not required.
