Reporting to the Team Leader, Central Processing Operations, you will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the company, with a focus upon the Claims, Risk and National Sales teams.  You will be collaborating with internal and external customers and channel partners to support the claims administration process.

  • Proficient computer skills and a knowledge of MS Programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of medical/veterinary terminology is considered an asset
  • French is considered an asset 
  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

What you bring to the role?

  • Indexing received documents into ImageRight (document management system)
  • Requesting, receiving, and distributing medical records for pet health claims and for underwriting purposes
  • Reviewing medical records and applications to activate trial coverages
  • Printing letters and welcome mailings, assembling attachments, packaging and sending to mailing fulfillment companies
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming faxes, mail and courier items
  • Preparing, packaging and tracking outgoing mail, including documents and supplies sent to offsite mailing fulfillment companies; completing monthly mail cost allocations; photocopying and shipping training materials to Territory Managers
  • Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies of literature and stationary items
  • Collaborating with channel partners to obtain missing information on vouchers
  • Contacting customers and channel partners to obtain missing information to complete policy/voucher issuance or activation to enquiries about claims submissions
